Meet Carolyn & Gabriella
The hands and hearts behind every celebration
Events by Ella was born the way the best things usually are — from love, not from a business plan. Carolyn Azzariti and her daughter Gabriella started out doing what came naturally to them: planning celebrations for the people they cared about most. Birthday parties for friends. A bridal shower for a cousin. A baby shower that turned out so beautiful, guests started asking, “Who did this?”
What they didn’t realize at first was that their eye for detail — the way Carolyn could envision an entire room from a single color swatch, the way Gabriella could hand-letter a welcome sign that looked like it belonged in a gallery — was something rare. Venues on Long Island took notice and asked to collaborate. Word spread. The hobby became a calling.
Today, Events by Ella is a full-service event planning company headquartered on Long Island, New York, serving clients in all 50 states. But the heart of it has never changed. Carolyn and Gabriella still design every concept personally. They still build nearly everything by hand in their studio — from floral centerpieces to custom backdrops to hand-painted signage. They still treat every celebration as if it were for someone in their own family.
Because to them, that’s exactly what it feels like.

In a world of mass-produced party supplies and catalog decor, we choose a different path. Nearly everything we create is built in our studio, by our hands. We believe the difference between a nice event and an unforgettable one lives in the details that were made with care — and guests can feel that difference the moment they walk in.
Every Detail Matters
The way a napkin is folded. The exact shade of gold on a place card. The height of a centerpiece relative to the person sitting beside it. We obsess over the details most people never think about — because those invisible choices are what make the visible ones feel so right.
